Welcome!

Established in 1958, the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) has completed 60 years of commendable service to promote the recognition of public relations as a profession and development of the profession along with networking of PR professionals. PRSI, as a registered professional body, leaves a distinct landmark which testifies that public relations has come of age in India. The PRSI is also affiliated to the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, an international organization of PR professionals. With this, PRSI has entered the global era.

Nearly in six decades of its existence, PRSI has organized 39 All India Public Relations Conferences in different parts of the country with different themes. These conferences not only updated the knowledge of public relations practitioners but also gave a great fillip to its credit. PRSI celebrated its Golden Jubilee Year in 2008, and organized the International PR Conference in Mauritius in August 2008 with the theme: ‘’Public Relations in the Emerging Global Village’’ to mark the occasion. The father-figure of professional PR practitioners in India, Kali H. Mody, was the founder President of PRSI from 1966 to 1969.
